Celtfest 2009, July 10th - 12th Volunteering Opportunities
Below is a list of positions, jobs or areas that we need help with to make the festival a success. Please review these items and if you feel you have the expertise or wish to gain experience in one of the listed items, please volunteer by filling out the form at the bottom of the page while indicating what type of volunteer work interests you. If you don’t see something on the list that interests you but would still like to volunteer, please fill out the form below as well.
Crew - Learning Experience
1. Admin. And Finance - Financial management, planning, organization skills
2. Booklet/Program Production - Writing and production skills, photography
3. Celtfest Rugby Cup - Sport event management, promotion, and media work
4. Concessions - Organizing merchandise and refreshment concessions
5. Graphics/Logo/Posters - Lay-out production of festival marketing materials
6. Info Booth/Merchandise - Media kits, information delivery, merchandise, CD sales
7. O Connell Acoustic Session Tent - Stage and tech management
8. Performers Coordination - Contracts management, building database of performers
9. Publicity/Promotion - Media - Media contacts, preparation of media releases
10. Publicity Promotion - Signage - Design, and installation of festival signs
11. Safety and Security - Assisting Public safety and security personnel
12. Saturday Celtfest Kick-off - Many tasks related to organizing a large outdoor concert
13. Sponsorship Sales - Assisting contacting sponsors, presentations, sales
14. Sponsorship Recognition/Hospitality - Organizing hospitality and event to recognize and thank festival sponsors
15. Site Management - Many tasks related to set up of stages, tents, fencing etc
16 Site Clean-up - Assisting cleanup during, and after the festival
17. Sound/Stage Tech - Assisting sound and lighting technical crews
18.Traffic and Parking - Assisting parking and traffic control during peak times
19. Volunteer Coordination - Assisting overall volunteer coordination
20. Web Site Development - Providing content and updated info to festival website, some web site design
