This year’s Almonte Celtfest (2010) will take place the July 9th-11th weekend!
Planning is still in the early phases, but we can confirm that the Glengarry Bhoys will be headlining this year’s event! See you in July!!

All volunteers and anyone interested in volunteering for the Almonte Celtfest are asked to attend a Volunteer Orientation/BBQ on Friday, July 10th at 6:30pm at Gemmill Park (Main Stage site). Volunteers will receive a Almonte Celtfest Volunteer Kit (which includes a free t-shirt, food vouchers, schedules, etc) as well as FREE BBQ food! The BBQ will provide a chance to meet and greet the other volunteers and the Celtfest Organizing Committee. Volunteer schedules will be established and any important information will be provided. Hope to see everyone there!

Yet another sporting element returns to this year’s Almonte Celtfest. On Sunday July 13, 2008 at 2:30 PM, in an appropriate “All Celtic” rugby match up, the local Lanark Highlanders will take on the Ottawa Irish. Lucky spectators can witness these two Eastern Ontario Division I rivals battle it out for the “Celtfest Cup”.
